The Brain Boxes Type I CompactFlash card allows a personal computer with a CF slot to communicate with other Bluetooth devices. It is based on the CSR BC2 chip, which interfaces to a UART running at 921,600 baud, allowing communications at the full Bluetooth data rates. The antenna for the board is built into the PCB. This card is available with Brain Boxes drivers and Bluetooth software stack for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium, Windows 98SE, Pocket PC. Alternatively the Brain Boxes card can be used with a Bluetooth software stack from a third party vendor.
